About Us

Who we are
Our Lady’s High School Old Girls Association (OLHSOGA – Lagos Chapter) was founded in the year 2015.
The members of this Association are former students of the institution (Our Lady’s High School, Effurun) who graduated and have come together to form a network for mutual benefit.
We strongly aim at fostering a better communication amongst old students, and to encourage effective interaction between the school (alma-mater) and its alumnae around the world.
Our alma-mater
Our Lady’s High School, Effurun was founded by Catholic missionary on 15th January 1960.
The school is a girls’ Secondary School with boarding facilities located at Airport road junction, Effurun, Uvwie, Local Government Area of Delta State – Nigeria, Africa.
Her Mission is Committed to excellent academic, spiritual & moral formation of the girl-child.
Where we are
The School has produced great women of influence in Nigeria and Abroad who now founded this Association.
Since the inception of this Association, Our Lady’s High School Old Girls Association (OLHSOGA – Lagos Chapter), we have tremendously grown numerically and remained stronger.
Our focus and dedication to the goals and objectives would benefit the school and the entire members.

Our focus
Giving back to the school
Since the importance of education cannot be overemphasized, there is absolute need to constantly discuss and seek means or ways by which we can ensure the quality and standard of the school and its delivery are uncompromisingly held high.
Linking up with old schoolmates
This network will go a long way in keeping the world as a Global Village. The modern day technology has helped us to hugely discover and reach out to ourselves. All our alumnae have spread their tentacles round the globe. We will continually reach out to every one to have a stronger connection and influence.
Supporting one another
There is no gainsaying the fact that this platform stands as a knowledge based work-force for self and implied national development. Every member stands a chance of rendering help and being helped. We are made of quick-witted and resourceful women and we are capable
Bonding and Sharing ideas
We propagate the spirit of oneness amongst the old students, which keeps us stronger, more efficient and effective in our delivery and to continually promote value-driven networking through virile service oriented disposition while associating with the yearnings and aspirations of the school.
